Summary
Windows clipboard history may cause Illustrator to slow down or freeze when copying complex artwork.
Update to the latest Illustrator version to resolve this issue. After updating Illustrator, the clipboard no longer includes SVG code by default when you copy artwork. This improves speed and reduces lag with complex selections. If you often copy artwork between Illustrator and other apps that rely on SVG formats (like browser-based editors or other vector tools), you can toggle the setting back on anytime.

Illustrator may unexpectedly request screen recording access when sampling external colors using the Eyedropper tool.
As a temporary workaround, adjust your macOS security settings to limit screen access. Open System Settings from the menu, navigate to Privacy & Security > Screen & System Audio Recording, and then toggle off Adobe Illustrator 2025.

Summary
Retype may not work in non-English locales unless English OCR is installed on your device.
As a temporary workaround, install English OCR. Open Settings, go to Time & language > Language & region, and under Preferred languages, select Add a language. Choose English (United States), select Next, and check all options except Set as my Windows display language. Select Install to complete the setup.
