Frequently asked questions about the Lightroom Plan (1TB) price change.

Starting January 15, 2025, the price of the Lightroom plan with 1TB storage will increase in all countries.

  • Annual billed monthly: Increase of US$2, from US$9.99 to US$11.99* per month. 
  • Annual prepaid: No increase - the price will remain at US$119.88 per year.

*The exact price will vary by currency and country.

If you are currently on an annual billed monthly plan, you can switch your billing to annual plan, prepaid, by visiting your Adobe Account page and navigate to Manage Plan to complete your request. You can also do so by contacting Adobe’s Customer Support.

You can switch your plan at any time, but after the new pricing takes effect, it’s recommended to wait until your subscription is up for renewal to switch to an annual, prepaid plan to access savings in that plan. Adobe will send you an email 30 days before your plan renewal date. Visit the Adobe Account page to view and manage your membership details.

Since its launch several years ago, the Lightroom plan (1TB) has maintained its competitive pricing while expanding to include highly sought-after apps like Lightroom for mobile.

Recent additions to your membership include capabilities like Lens Blur, Denoise, and hundreds of Premium Presets in Lightroom. Lightroom Classic will now also be available for download as a part of the Lightroom subscription. 

The updated pricing will be reflected on your next renewal date on or January 15, 2025. You’ll receive an email from Adobe about the changes approximately 30 days before your contract is up for renewal. Visit the Adobe account page to view or manage your renewal date and membership details.

  • Included: Lightroom plan with 1TB storage (includes Lightroom, Lightroom for Classic, Lightroom on mobile, and Lightroom on web).
  • Excluded: Lightroom Premium mobile-only plan.

New subscribers who sign up on or after Jan 15, 2025 will receive the new pricing.

Yes, the new price of the Lightroom (1TB) plan already reflects any foreign exchange adjustments, if applicable to your country.

In 2026, in certain countries, you may have received an email regarding foreign exchange adjustment.

Adobe monitors currency fluctuations and adjusts prices only when necessary.   • Customers who purchased their subscription through prepaid redemption codes or cards will not be impacted, as the code is prepaid. You'll only be impacted at the time of renewal.
  • Current active prepaid subscriptions will remain valid until the end of the redemption period.

  • Prepaid codes/cards that have been purchased and not yet redeemed can still be applied to your active account at any point in the future.

  • To avoid losing any previously applied redemption credits, users who have already redeemed their code(s)/card(s) should wait until the last 30 days before their subscription expires before switching to an auto-renewing annual plan.
