Install log error "Exit Code: 19" | Creative Suite 5, CS5.5

One of the following errors appeared in your Creative Suite 5 or CS5.5 installation log file:

Exit Code: 19;
Payload <AdobeCode> can not be installed due to dependent operation failure;

This error indicates a conflicting process prevented the product from installing. Use the warning dialog box that appears in the Creative Suite installer to identify and close the conflicting process. For instructions, see Solution 1. For silent (volume license) installations, see Solution 2.

Close the conflicting processes identified in the installation process to continue.

Right-click the task bar and select Task Manager.

Select the Processes tab, and select Show Processes From All Users.

Select a conflicting process from the list and click End Process.

Repeat step 3 for any additional conflicting processes.

In the Finder, choose Go > Utilities.

Double-click the Activity Monitor application.

From the pop-up processes filter menu in the upper-right corner of the window, choose All Processes.

Select a conflicting process from the list and click Quit Process. Then, click Force Quit.

Repeat step 4 for any additional conflicting processes.

Configure your silent installation to ignore the processes that are currently running. Or, disable the processes running in the background before installing the product.
