Select the text using the Selection tool.
Learn how to find, preview, and apply fonts from Creative Cloud Libraries in the font browser to stylize text in Adobe Illustrator.
Select Window > Type > Character to open the Character panel.
Select the Set the font family dropdown to open the font browser, and then switch to the Libraries tab.
To sort the Libraries, select Sort Font Libraries , and then select Date modified or Name .
Select the Library that has the required font.
Preview the font:
- Find the preview of the sample text next to the font name. Change the default sample text settings, if needed.
- Hover over the font name to preview it on the selected text on the canvas.
To apply a font to the selected text on the canvas, hover over the font name, and check if it's a local font (indicated by one of the Font Technology icons), an added font (indicated by ), or a font yet to be added (indicated by Add ). Then, do the following to apply the font:
- If it's a local font or an added font, select the font.
- If it's a font yet to be added, select Add , and once added, select the font.
