Photoshop crashes while using bullets and numbers

Resolve the Adobe Photoshop crash issue when working with bullets and numbers.
Open the document that has the issue.
Select No on the Some text layers might need to be updated... dialog.
Save a screenshot of your canvas so you have a backup of the text needing to be recreated.
Delete all text layers that have a gray triangle with an exclamation mark in the Layers panel. Select OK on any program errors encountered along the way.
Recreate the Type layers without utilizing the Bullets and Numbering functionality. You can type the list text as long as the auto detection preference is disabled.
Save as a new PSD document.
For Photoshop versions 26.4 and 26.5, uncheck Automatic detection of Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing in Preferences > Type.
