- Enhance storytelling and brand engagement by creating captivating characters and character content that fits your brand aesthetic.
Custom models are exclusively available to enterprises that have purchased Firefly Custom Models. If you don’t see any custom models in the Model dropdown menu, you may not have the entitlement. Contact your Adobe administrator if you are interested in using or training custom models.
Then select Generate image.
When you select a custom model, you'll see a badge that displays the Firefly Image Model.
If desired, you can change the Generation settings in the left-hand panel. Use Upscale and enhance to improve the quality of photos of people, or go to the Composition menu to add a composition reference to guide composition, and more.
Enter your prompt and select Generate. Repeat as desired. You can download or open them in Photoshop to add the finishing touches.
- When testing a model trained on a subject (i.e., character, person, still life object) the model will remind you to include the model Concept in the prompt.
- If desired, you can adjust settings such as the Aspect ratio, Content type, Style references, and Effects as you generate.
Image format for downloading
You can download the raster images generated by custom models as JPEG or SVG files (beta).
Important notes for SVG exports:
- Custom models are native image models, not vector models. This beta option converts raster images to SVG files, similar to Illustrator’s Trace Image function. As a result, these SVGs may include more anchor points and more complex paths than traditional vectors. This is most common in medium- to high-complexity images, but can also appear as hallucinations in simple images. This initial beta does not yet create editable strokes.
- Conversion speed may vary and is typically slower for complex images.
- This beta option is only available on Firefly.com and applies only to illustrations, not photographic generations.
- This beta option is only available for images created with enterprise custom models.
- SVG files are not currently signed with CAI.
Prompt Rewrite for Custom Models (beta)
Prompt Rewrite is a built-in feature that automatically improves your prompts to make them clearer and more detailed. This helps Firefly deliver the best image generation results from the get-go.
What it does:
For Custom Models, Prompt Rewrite focuses on improving prompt coherence. It adds helpful details to the elements you’ve already included and considers your model’s captions and tags. This differs from the generic prompt enhancement, which only adds new creative elements that you didn’t include.
Where it works:
It rewrites prompts for custom models using Firefly Image Model 4. It does not apply to other foundation models or custom models built on Image Model 3.How to view changes:
After generating an image, select Show Enhanced to view the rewritten prompt. You can also edit this enhanced prompt before your next generation. When it’s enabled:
This feature is turned on for models trained on:- A specific subject (e.g., a photoshoot of a person, an illustrated character)
- Photorealistic styles (e.g., lifestyle photography)
It’s not enabled for models trained on non-photorealistic styles (e.g., illustrations, iconography, 3D graphics).
Can you turn it off?
Yes, you can toggle it off—but we recommend keeping it on. Firefly activates this feature when it predicts it will improve your results.
