Your organization has the option to receive set partner pricing1 for up to three years on all qualifying and available products when you commit to auto-renew a set number of licenses (Minimum Commit) on the Member’s first and second Anniversary Date in the VIP Marketplace. In exchange, Adobe agrees to offer set discounted partner pricing during the Member’s 3-year commit term. The Minimum Commitment must be at least 10 licenses. 3-year commit allows budgeting for up to 3 years.
Additional discounts with 3-year commit
For commercial and government customers, 3-year commit offers an even bigger discount level than 1-year subscriptions. When VIP Marketplace Members accept the 3-year commit, their discount level is transitioned to the corresponding 3-year commit discount level, which has additional discounts. For example, if a Member with discount level 2 accepts 3-year commit, then their VIP Marketplace Agreement is transitioned to discount level 12. Similarly, if a Member with discount level 3 or 4 accepts 3-year commit, their Agreement will be transitioned to discount level 13 or 14, respectively.

Note
Adobe Acrobat Sign Transactions and named-user licenses are tracked separately for discount levels and a 3-year commitment. A Member may commit to purchase a certain quantity of Sign Transactions (as described in Offerings) or named-user licenses and will receive a corresponding discount level on each type of commitment. For clarity, other Consumables, such as Adobe Stock Credit Packs, Adobe Stock Subscription, and Document Cloud Services APIs, don't count toward obtaining VIP Marketplace discount levels or meeting a Member’s 3-year minimum number of Sign Transactions or named-user licenses commitment.
1 Specific pricing is always between the reseller and the VIP Marketplace Member. Adobe will offer the same price to Adobe’s direct channel partner during a 3-year commit term. Certain currencies may be affected by fluctuations in exchange rates.
Steps to getting started with 3-year commit
Initiate a 3-year commit
- Your reseller will initiate a VIP Marketplace 3-year commit invitation with your preferred minimum license commitment quantity. The invitation can be sent before your first order.
Accept 3-year commit
- After the 3-year commit invitation has been initiated, your organization will receive an email with an invitation to accept the 3-year commit agreement. You'll need to review and accept the VIP Marketplace 3-year commit terms. When a 3-year commit invitation was initiated before the Minimum Commitment quantity of licenses or transactions were purchased, an order meeting the defined Minimum Commitment quantity must be placed within 30 days of accepting the agreement. If an order that meets the defined Minimum Commitment quantity is not placed within 30 days, then the account will not be enrolled in the 3-year commit and will not receive its benefits.
Add licenses with set partner pricing1 at any time
- Purchase new licenses or Consumables with the partner pricing1 offered by Adobe when you accepted your 3-year commit amendment, even if you haven’t yet licensed that particular product.
Examples of 3-year commit agreements
When you accept 3-year commit, you agree to auto-renew a set number of licenses on your Anniversary Date during the 3-year commit term. And in exchange, Adobe agrees to offer set discounted partner pricing 1 for you during the 3-year commit term for all qualifying and available products. You will renew (annually) twice during the 3-year term at the set license quantity. Here are two examples:
Example A: Auto-renewal of Minimum Commitment during 3-year commit. An organization purchases 120 licenses. They immediately accept 3-year commit, agreeing to maintain a minimum of 120 licenses through the 3-year commit term. Their licenses renew automatically on their 2nd and 3rd Anniversary Dates.
Example B: Ordering more than your Minimum Commitment does not increase your Minimum Commitment. An organization wants to commit to 1,000 Transactions but has not yet placed an order. Their reseller initiates a 3-year commit invitation set with a Minimum Commitment quantity of 1,000 Transactions. The Member accepts the 3-year commit agreement and places an order for 1,000 Transactions within 30 days. Later, they add 20 licenses, but they are only obligated to maintain their Minimum Commitment quantity of 1,000 Transactions in years 2 and 3.
Product availability during a 3-year commit subscription term
Adobe is constantly innovating and may release new products available for purchase through VIP Marketplace at any time. If, after you’ve joined 3-year commit, a new product is released and becomes available for purchase through VIP Marketplace, then the initial price of that product will also be included in your 3-year commit pricing.
Adobe may discontinue a product's availability at any time. If this occurs during a 3-year commit term, a Member can no longer purchase the product after its last sale date.
Promotional pricing under 3-year commit
Promotional pricing is available only for an initial qualifying purchase. Under 3-year commit, promotional licenses revert to standard license pricing at renewal, as only standard pricing is provided to the reseller for additional license purchases and renewals.
Your Minimum Commitment auto-renews annually during your 3-year term
In VIP Marketplace 3-year commit, your Minimum Commitment will auto-renew on your Anniversary Date each year during your 3-year commit term. This ensures that you are always in compliance. If you would like to change your product mix, contact your reseller at least thirty days before your Anniversary Date.
