Fatal Error 123 during download

While installing a Creative Cloud app on Mac OS, the installation fails with the following error message:

"Fatal Error '123' occurred while download"

Exit code 123 error message

Solutions

Upgrade to the latest version of the Creative Cloud desktop application

To update to Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application version 3.7.5.291, or later, remove the Creative Cloud desktop app by using the Creative Cloud desktop app uninstaller utility. After you remove it, you can download and install the current version of the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Note:

If you receive a message stating that you cannot uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop app because it is used by other applications, you are using the uninstaller and not the Creative Cloud desktop app uninstaller utility. Download and run the Creative Cloud desktop app uninstaller utility instead.

Try a different download link

If the solution above does not resolve the issue, you can try downloading the application directly. You'll need to enter your Adobe ID and password to access the site.
