Dreamweaver crashes on Windows

Adobe Dreamweaver crashes after launch on Windows. The system displays the following error:

You may experience this crash if the system also has Web Companion (an ad detection software by Lavasoft) installed on it.

Resolution

Uninstall Web Companion and restart your system. Then, launch Dreamweaver.
