Assign a license to teams user

Use the Adobe Admin Console to add users and assign product licenses in your team.

Assign a license to a user

Quick help
To assign a license to a user, go to Admin Console > Overview Add Users.

 Sign in to the Admin Console as an administrator and navigate to Products.

Sign in

 Click Assign Users on the relevant product card.

 The Assign Users link is displayed only for products that have unassigned licenses.

 Enter the name or email address for the user.

 Click Save.

An email is sent to the user confirming access to Creative Cloud. The users can then Install the apps they are assigned and start using them.

You can also add multiple users at a time through CSV upload. For more information, see Add users.

 By default, administrators can't access Creative Cloud. If an administrator requires access, you must assign a product license.

 You can buy more products and licenses anytime. See Add products and licenses. You can remove products and licenses during the renewal period of your Creative Cloud for teams subscription. For more information, see Remove products and licenses

How can I resend the email invite?

Follow these steps if a user is unable to access the teams confirmation email: 

  1. In the Admin Console, navigate to Users > Users.

  2. From the list of users that displays, select the users clicking the check box to the left of their names.

  3. Click Remove Users.

When you reassign a license, the user receives the email invite again.

Quick help
To unassign a license, go to Admin Console > Users. You can delete the user or edit their product assignment.

Remove a license from a user, if they no longer require to use the product or the user leaves your team.

  1. Sign in to the Admin Console as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Users > Users.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click the user to open the user details. Under Products, edit the license assignment, and click Save
    • To remove a user from your team, select the user and then click Remove User.

A confirmation email is sent to the administrator.
