Generate presentation is a new generative AI capability that generates slides from a prompt with or without your files in minutes, helping you create ready-to-use presentations. It allows you to:

  • Create complete presentations from prompts with or without existing documents.
  • Build structured outlines and content using AI.
  • Customize tone, audience, length, and structure.
  • Enhance with professional templates, charts, tables, and AI-suggested stock photos.
  • Refine with image and text-editing tools.
  • Share via link, live presenter mode, or export to PDF or PPT.

The Generate presentation feature is currently available for Individual, Teams (Direct and VIP), and Enterprise (EVIP and ETLA) subscriptions. It's available in English and French across countries where Acrobat products and services are offered.

You can create a presentation directly from your own content, whether it’s text you provide or a file you upload. The Generate presentation tool analyzes your material and generates slides with structured outlines, visuals, and design suggestions. You can then customize the look and tone to match your needs.

You can upload PDFs, DOCXs, PPTs, PNGs, JPGs, web links, or pasted text. You can add up to 10 documents with a combined limit of 150 pages.

Yes, you can generate a complete presentation from a simple text prompt. Just describe your topic or idea, and the tool creates a ready-to-use presentation with structured slides and professional designs.

Images in the presentation may be sourced from Adobe Stock and your source files. You can check the source of any Stock image and the applicable license by right-clicking and selecting Source info in Adobe Express. 

To exclude images from source files, turn off the Include source documents option under Images in AI Settings.

You can create a wide variety of presentations with Generate presentation. Whether you need sales presentations, marketing and pitch decks, university projects, proposals, or creative storytelling presentations, the feature helps you generate tailored content and designs to match your needs. You can also customize the slides to adjust the look, tone, audience, and level of detail, as well as manually edit content, add charts or tables, or use AI to refine the text.

Adobe Express in Acrobat offers a range of AI tools to help you efficiently refine and enhance your presentation:

  • Recreate slides: Rewrite your slide outline or regenerate the slides with updated content and structure.
  • Add slides: Easily add AI-generated slides that match your presentation’s tone and style.
  • Rewrite selected text: Highlight any text and select Rewrite to improve clarity, adjust tone, or tailor messaging for your audience.
  • Generate images: In the Adobe Express editor, go to Media > Generate Image to create AI-generated visuals that match your content.
  • Refine your outline or prompt: Revisit your outline or earlier steps to adjust your prompt, audience, or content length. You can also select a different template to regenerate the entire presentation with a fresh look.
