Learn how to creatively distort, retouch, and enhance images using the powerful Liquify tools.
Try the app
Follow along with any project to learn how to retouch images.
Select Retouch > Liquify .
In the Liquify panel, select a tool based on the effect you want to apply:
- Warp: Distorts pixels by pushing or pulling them in the direction you drag.
- Reconstruct: Reverses the distortion you’ve already added, as you hold down the mouse button and drag.
- Smooth: Softens or reduces distortions in the affected area.
- Twirl: Rotates pixels clockwise or counterclockwise around the brush center.
- Pucker: Moves pixels toward the center of the brush area as you hold down the mouse button or drag.
- Bloat: Moves pixels away from the center of the brush area as you hold down the mouse button or drag.
- Push: Moves pixels in the direction you drag.

Select Advanced settings to access more options for customizing the selected tool.
Brush over the image to apply the desired effect.
Select Done.
