Illustrator for Apple silicon

Run Illustrator faster in native mode on Apple computers having the Apple silicon M1 chip.

Illustrator now runs natively on Apple computers with the Apple silicon M1 chip that performs faster than the similarly configured previous generation systems.

Known differences and limitations

Some of the features like Adobe Bridge in Illustrator menus, DXF and DWG file format support, and legacy third-party (Intel-only) plug-ins are unavailable in the native mode. To use these features, you have to run Illustrator in Rosetta emulation mode.

Features not available in the native mode
