Why was the serial number blocked?

Adobe blocks serial numbers that are known to have not been issued by Adobe, or are known to have been used fraudulently by unauthorized sellers to produce counterfeit software. Unfortunately, you may only know the serial number has been blocked for this reason when re-activating or reinstalling Adobe software.

What should I do if the serial number is blocked?

There are several steps you can take if you receive this message:

  • Check that you are using the correct serial number for your product installation here: Find your serial number

Note:

A serial number is 24 numbers only. Here is an example of the serial number format: 8721-0892-0867-4459-9223-2874.
