Learn how to change the order of cameras in the Source and Program Monitors to optimize your multicam editing workflow.

By arranging the cameras in an order that matches the sequence of shots you plan to use, you can streamline the editing process. This makes it easier to switch between angles quickly and efficiently while editing multi-camera sequences.

Before you begin:

Import your files, create a project, and create a multi-camera sequence.

Drag the sequence from the Project panel to the Source or Program Monitor.

Select the wrench icon and select Edit Cameras.

In the Edit Cameras dialog box, rearrange the cameras or activate/deactivate any of the cameras by toggling the On/Off buttons.

The Edit Cameras dialog box is open and there is an option where you can rearrange the order of the cameras and activate or deactivate them. — To rearrange cameras, move them up or down, or toggle the On/Off switch to activate or deactivate them.

Select OK.
