Learn how to lock and unlock elements to prevent unintended changes and protect key content in the Adobe Express mobile app.

Follow along with any design to learn how to lock elements.
Select the element you want to lock.
Select the three-dot icon, then select Lock .
To allow editing on a locked element, open Lock settings , select the Text, Image, or Video can be replaced checkbox, then select the checkmark icon.
You can further customize the text and image lock permissions:
- Text: Select Adjust to adjust the behavior, alignment, and size.
- Image: Select Replace image to upload a new photo or choose from Adobe assets.
To unlock, select the element, then Unlock .
