Learn how to edit videos by adding scenes, transitions, and design elements in the Adobe Express mobile app.

Follow along with any design to learn how to use drag-and-drop video editing tools.

Open a video in Adobe Express. 

In the timeline panel, select your video scene to trim, split, and duplicate. 

  • Drag the trim handles to remove unwanted parts and keep the desired portion of your video.
  • Select Split to divide the video into two segments. 
  • Select Duplicate to copy the video scene. 

Select your video in your design to apply effects, animate, adjust speed, volume, and more.

Customize the video by adding TextElementsTheme, and Background color.

Select the add   icon to insert a new scene to the timeline.

Use the add icon on the timeline to upload a video scene from your device or choose from Media.

To add a transition, select the add   icon between two scenes, and then select Add transition.

Use the Transitions panel to choose the pattern and then select the checkmark   icon.
