Get answers to frequently asked questions about the new Adobe Express app on mobile and iPad.

The new Adobe Express app is an entirely new version of Adobe Express, now available on mobile and iPad, which will replace the prior version of the Adobe Express app. The new version brings new video creation, generative AI, social content scheduling, and branding capabilities to mobile, along with many other features, including the ability to work across desktop and mobile phones. Eligible devices can now download the app via Google Play and Apple App Store.

Now that the new version of Adobe Express on mobile is generally available, eligible users will be sent straight to the new Adobe Express app experience to try out the new features and capabilities. After exploring, you'll have a choice to stay in the new app and trigger file migration or temporarily return to the prior version of the app. If you choose to migrate, you'll no longer have access to the prior version of the app. If you would like to return to the prior version, you'll have the opportunity to do so until you are ready to migrate. Eventually, with advance notice, all eligible devices will be required to use the new Adobe Express app, and all files made in the prior version will be migrated.

With the new version of Adobe Express now available across all iOS surfaces, ensure you have updated to the latest version of the app. Then, when you use the app, check to make sure you have fully migrated your files to the new version of Adobe Express. If you see a purple ribbon at the top of your app, follow the provided steps to migrate. If you had previously migrated on your iPhone but had separate files you created afterward on your iPad in the prior version of Adobe Express. Please migrate those separately to sync them with your iPhone and desktop files.
