You can search for and install plug-ins, extensions, or add-ons for InDesign and other Adobe products from the Adobe Exchange website.
Browse add-ons from InDesign
You can explore available plug-ins directly from InDesign. Select Plug-Ins > Browse Plugins to open a webpage, where you can find both free and paid options. Any plug-ins you install or acquire through the Creative Cloud (CC) app are synced automatically with InDesign via this workflow.
View installed add-ons
Add-ons later appear in Window > Find Extensions on Exchange or in your downloads. You can also view the add-ons you’ve downloaded in Adobe Exchange, which lists the supported products and versions.

When file syncing is enabled, the browse add-ons sync to the CC account.
