Adjust video lighting

Select a video to open it in Detail view.

Select Edit > Light .

Drag the following slider to adjust the settings: 

• Exposure: Controls the overall brightness of your video. Move the slider left to darken the video or right to brighten it. 
• Contrast: Adjusts the difference between light and dark areas. Move the slider left to reduce contrast and right to enhance it. 
• Highlights: Controls the brightness of the lighter areas in your video. Move the slider left to darken highlights and recover details, or right to brighten highlights and reduce detail. 
• Shadows: Adjusts the brightness of the darker areas in your video. Move the slider left to deepen shadows or right to lighten them and reveal details. 
• Whites: Sets the white point of the video. Move the slider right to make more colors appear completely white. 
• Blacks: Sets the black point of the video. Move the slider left to make more colors appear completely black.

Select a video to open it in Detail view.

Select Edit > Light .

• Shadows: Adjusts the brightness of the darker areas in your video. Move the slider left to deepen shadows or right to lighten them and reveal details. 
• Whites: Sets the white point of the video. Move the slider right to make more colors appear completely white. 
• Blacks: Sets the black point of the video. Move the slider left to make more colors appear completely black.

Open the video you want to copy settings from, in Detail view.

Select the Options icon, and then select Copy Settings from the drop-down menu.

In the Copy Settings panel, select the Select drop-down list.

Select one of the following settings:

• All: Copies all applied adjustments from the selected video.
• Default: Copies only the default settings with no user modifications.
• Modified: Copies only the settings that have been adjusted from their default values.
• None: Does not copy any settings.

Select the Done icon.

Open the video you want to copy the settings to in Detail view, select the Options icon, and then select Paste Settings.
