Adobe® Muse® CC includes features that allow you to create and publish dynamic websites for desktop and mobile devices without writing code. Continue reading for a quick introduction to new features available with the latest update to Muse CC, and links to other resources that provide more information.
The Adobe Muse CC November 2013 release, now available as part of Creative Cloud membership, delivers new, time-saving features such as the Library panel to easily save, re-use, and share design elements plus Social widgets to tap into social media on your site. Updates include additional scroll effects options with support for slideshows and Adobe Edge Animate files, and the ability to set a full screen slideshow to create a truly unique and immersive website.
The Adobe Muse CC Update for August 2013 is now available. The update includes improvements to Active States for Hyperlinked Objects and Scroll Effects (Parallax Scrolling.)
New in Adobe Muse CC | November 2013
The new Library Panel lets you organize, reuse, and share design elements easily. You can add items to the Library and quickly access them for re-using in your site. The Library can contain various web design elements, such as logos, images, color swatches, guides, customized widgets, embedded HTML, paragraph, text, character, and graphic styles, stylized buttons, and so on. You can share your collection with the community, and also, download what others share.

Enhanced in Adobe Muse CC | November 2013
Enhancements to Scroll Effects allow you to move objects in different directions at varying speeds. The user interface has been updated to improve usability and provides new options, Opacity, and Fading. With this update, you can apply Scroll Effects to objects such as background images, full screen slideshows, and Adobe Edge Animate files.

Social widgets allow you to embed HTML in pages from third-party websites. You can use Social widgets to add content from social networking sites such as Facebook, Google Maps, Google+, LinkedIn, PayPal, Pinterest, Twitter, Vimeo, and YouTube. You can also customize options, such as color scheme, button type, or map address within Adobe Muse. Social Widgets also include the ability to embed Made with Adobe Muse icon in your Muse projects.

New in Adobe Muse CC | November 2013
You can set up slideshows to display content in full screen with the Fullscreen Slideshow widget. On clicking a Fullscreen Slideshow, the content scales to fill the entire browser window. It also auto-adjusts to fit the width of the screen depending on the device (desktop, tablet, or mobile). For the slideshow, you can add lightbox effect, pin to a fixed position, play automatically, and set size and placement of each thumbnail.

You can rotate Tabbed and Accordion widgets using the Rotate Panel. This allows you to make effective use of real estate on your page by organizing content better. For example, using the Rotate Panel, you can set up Accordion Widgets to expand and collapse horizontally across a page, as opposed to expanding vertically downwards. Despite rotating, text within these widgets continue to stay editable and can be crawled by search engines.

- Group the up, over, down, and active states of each object placed inside the State Button Widget.
- Set content to close upon rollout of the mouse to create an intuitive experience for site exploration.
- New option to selectively display desktop or mobile version of a site depending on the device, by placing redirects from the desktop layout.
- Adobe Muse is now available in 17 languages, including: Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Czech, and Finnish.
- Add and remove words to either language-specific dictionaries or to the global dictionary, which is helpful when creating sites for multiple languages
- Code improvements include a more efficient image resampling, resulting in high-quality images without impacting load times. Also includes a more frequent use of CSS instead of automatically rasterizing elements such as images and rotated items with rounded corners. Additionally, line spacing will look consistent when the site is viewed across multiple browsers.
Anchor links can now display the active state of an object based on the scroll position. Items linked to an anchor will display in the Active state when the portion of the page, associated with the anchor, is in view.
This setting is off by default for existing sites, and on for new sites. You can take advantage of this new feature for one of your existing sites, by selecting the Enable Active State for Anchor Links (Site Properties > Content) option.

The following enhancements are available for the Scroll Effects feature within Adobe Muse CC:
- All existing background and position scroll effects now function when viewed on iOS devices. Be sure to re-publish your site to take full advantage of the code generation enhancements.
- Scroll effect controls have moved from the Effects drop-down window to a panel of its own. You can access the panel from by selecting Window > Scroll Effects menu.
- Elements that are set to 100% of browser width can now have scroll motion applied.
