Permanently delete files

Learn how to delete files from the cloud storage using the Creative Cloud desktop app and Adobe Home.

Deleted files are stored for 30 days and will continue to consume space until permanently deleted. However, you can delete them any time before the 30-day period to free up some storage space.

Delete files from your Creative Cloud storage in a few simple steps.

Open the Creative Cloud desktop app or Adobe Home.

Select Files > Deleted .

Hover over the file, select the more actions  icon, and then select Delete permanently .

Select the more actions icon on the file you want to delete permanently and then select Delete permanently from the dropdown menu.

Tip

You can also select the checkbox on a file and then select Delete permanently   on the blue ribbon.

In the Delete permanently dialog box, select Delete permanently.

In the Delete peramanently dialog box, verify the files to be permanently deleted, and select the Delete permanently button at the lower-right corner of the dialog box highlighted in red.
Use the Delete permanently button to confirm and remove the selected file permanently

Note

You cannot restore files once permanently deleted.
