Apps won't launch due to configuration errors

In the Windows taskbar, select File Explorer.

In the search bar at the top, enter these paths to go to SLStore and Adobe PCD:

• SLStore: ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
• Adobe PCD: Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\ (32-bit); Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ Adobe PCD\ (64-bit)

In File Explorer, right-click the Adobe PCD or the SLStore folder, and select Properties.

Select the Security tab, and then select Edit to set permissions:

Select OK > Apply to close the permissions dialog box.

Now select Advanced in the properties dialog box.

Select Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object. Select OK, and then select Apply.

Finally, select OK to close the SLStore or Adobe PCD properties dialog box.

Launch the Creative Cloud app again. 

Press Command + Spacebar to open Spotlight Search.

In the Spotlight Search window, enter the file path to go to SLStore and Adobe PCD folders:

• SLStore: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore
• Adobe PCD: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD

Right-click the folder and select Get Info.

Expand the Sharing & Permissions section.

Select the lock icon in the lower-right corner. When prompted, enter your administrator username and password and select OK.

Set permissions for SLStore and Adobe PCD folders:

Select the gear icon and select Apply to enclosed items.

Now, close the SLStore Info or Adobe PCD info window.

Launch the Creative Cloud app again.
