Create, edit, and delete data point presets

Learn more about creating, editing, and deleting data point presets in Photoshop to speed up your measurement workflows and reuse frequently used configurations.

Create a data point preset

Select Image > Analysis > Select Data Points > Custom.

Select the data points you want to include in the preset.

Select Save Preset and enter a name for the preset.

Select OK. The preset is saved and is available under Analysis > Select Data Points.

Edit a data point preset

Select Image > Analysis > Select Data Points > Custom.

From the Preset menu, select the preset you want to edit.

Select or deselect the data points as needed. The preset name changes to Custom.

Select Save Preset.

Note
  • Enter the original preset name to overwrite the existing preset.
  • Enter a new name to create a new preset.

Delete a data point preset

Select Image > Analysis > Select Data Points > Custom.

From the Preset menu, select the preset you want to delete.

Select Delete Preset.

Select Yes to confirm.
