Learn how to remove unwanted reflections from your photos with Reflection Removal in Adobe Photoshop on desktop.

Remove unwanted reflections from your photos using Reflection Removal. The feature is designed for large, full-image reflections caused by shooting through glass (like, window reflections).

Select File > Open to select and open an image.

Select the layer that contains the reflection.

From the Edit menu, select Reflection Removal.

In the Reflection Removal dialog box, select your preferred output and quality settings.

  • Create separate reflection layer: Keep the box checked to get the reflection on a separate layer.
  • Quality: Select from the Preview, Standard, or Best quality options.
Note

Selecting Create separate reflection layer creates two new layers (a cleaned image layer and a reflection layer) while keeping the original layer unchanged. If not selected, a single cleaned image layer is created, and the original layer remains unchanged

Select OK to apply the changes.
