Photoshop Elements 2021 crashes while opening images.

Workaround

Thank you for sharing the crash reports with us. We are able to reproduce the issue at our end and are investigating this.

In the meantime, follow these workarounds to avoid the crash:

1. Switch to the Expert workspace before you open an image.
2. If you prefer the Quick workspace, then select any other tool apart from the Auto Selection before opening the images.
