Learn how to quickly adjust the size of a type area using the Selection or Direct Selection tool.
Resize using the Selection tool
Select and drag any corner or edge handle of the bounding box to resize the text area. The text will reflow within the new boundaries.
Resize using the Direct Selection tool
Select the type path with the Direct Selection tool.
Select and drag to adjust the shape of the path. The text will reflow along the reshaped path.
