Learn how to find photos by metadata, keywords, objects, or Google Assistant voice commands.

Adobe Lightroom on mobile provides intelligent search capabilities that help you quickly locate photos in your library. It allows you to search for objects visible in your photos, metadata properties, keywords, or by describing what you're looking for in your own words.

Search requires an active internet connection for content-based object recognition. It works across your entire photo library, including specific albums.

Select the Lightroom tab.

Select the Search icon and do one of the following:

Type your search term, and then select the search icon on your mobile keyboard.
Type a facet name followed by a colon, review the auto-complete suggestions that appear, and then select one to refine your search.
Type a natural description of what you're looking for, and Lightroom finds matching photos based on what's actually in the image, for example, "a man wearing a yellow jacket".

A search term can be an object name, a keyword, or a facet name. such as keyword, camera, lens, location, rating, flag, flash, depth map, orientation, iso, type, f-stop, ss, edited, media, and contributors, followed by a colon.
