Generative AI features are available in the Photoshop desktop app wherever Adobe provides services. Photoshop is bringing the power of generative AI to global audiences by supporting over 100 languages for text prompt inputs. It is not available for users in China.
Users can open and import assets, bring them into Photoshop, then use generative AI features. Each time you select Generate, a new Generative Layer is created. With the introduction of this new layer, a user must then save as a PSD or other layered file type to preserve their edits. There are multiple ways that you could end up with a PSD or other layered file type and a simple Save will preserve the layer. Not need to use Save As or Save a Copy.
