Adobe Firefly on the web enables you to create AI-generated visual assets. Once you've created your desired videos in Firefly, you can send them directly to Premiere on desktop, streamlining your workflow by eliminating the need for manual downloads and imports.

Create or select your desired video in Adobe Firefly on the web.

Select Edit > Open in Premiere desktop.

The Edit menu in Firefly with the Open in Premiere desktop option highlighted.
Send your Firefly video directly to Premiere from the Edit menu for quick editing access.

It opens a new page that starts the handoff. You can view the download progress in the Progress sheet.

Tip:

You can choose where the media from Firefly is saved on your device.

  • On macOS: Go to Premiere > Settings, then locate Cloud Media Downloads.
  • On Windows: Go to Edit > Preferences, then locate Cloud Media Downloads.

The media automatically appears in Firefly Downloads bin of the Project panel of your currently open Premiere project.

Once the asset appears in your Project panel, you can drag it to the Timeline, apply effects, or organize it into bins like any other imported media. The transferred media retains its full resolution and quality from Firefly.
