Update AI edits button appears when the edits are not done in the recommended order.

Select Update AI edits to view the details of all the edits made with AI-powered features.
Select the Update AI Edits button to update all invalid edits on the image. Select the Update AI Edits button to update all invalid edits on the image.
The Update AI edits button is available on Adobe Camera Raw, Lightroom on desktop, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom on mobile, and Lightroom on the web.
Update AI edits doesn't work in the following scenarios:
When there is no network or internet connection.
When the account is free or the trial version has expired.
Order of AI edit operations
The recommended order of operations to avoid unexpected results and achieve the best output is as follows:
- HDR
- Distracting People Removal
- Remove
- Lens blur
- Adaptive Profiles
- Masking
- When some AI edits are pasted to an image or applied from a previous image, the Update AI Edits will appear, as the AI edits need to be computed.
- Unsupported edits, such as Denoise, Generative Expand, and Remove Reflections, will be removed when editing on an Android device.
