Manage cloud storage and sync

Select Lightroom > Cloud Storage & Sync.

In Cloud Storage & Sync view your current storage usage and sync settings.

Review your Cloud Storage details to view the available storage space.

In the Cloud Storage & Sync settings, toggle off Use Cellular Data to sync only over Wi-Fi, or switch on to sync using your cellular data plan.

Select Download only reduced-resolution files and toggle on to use smaller files for faster loading, editing, and sharing, while saving device storage space.

Select Download original files when using AI tools and toggle on to use full-quality files for printing or desktop work, though larger file sizes may slow loading and editing.

Select Prevent From Sleep and toggle on to keep your device active during sync when connected to power.

Select Menu > Account.

In the Account panel, view your current cloud storage usage and sync settings.

Select Menu > Preferences.

In the Preferences panel, toggle off Use Cellular Data to sync only over Wi-Fi, or toggle on to sync using your mobile data plan.

Scroll to IMAGE QUALITY, and do the following:

• Toggle on Download only reduced-resolution to download a reduced file size for faster loading, editing, and sharing. Suitable for social sharing.
• Toggle on Download original files when using AI tools if you need high-quality outputs for printing or working on a desktop.
