Import photos from your device
Learn more about how to use batch import to add multiple photos from your device gallery to Lightroom at once.
This procedure copies photos from your device’s native photo library into the Adobe Lightroom library, where you can edit and organize them. When you open Lightroom on mobile, you can view and edit photos stored on your device without importing them. With a premium subscription, Lightroom syncs these photos across your devices for ease of access.
From the menu that appears, select Select.
Select the photos you want to import by tapping each thumbnail.
Select Import .
Select the Gallery tab, and then select and hold a photo to enter the selection mode.
You can also import multiple photos by selecting Options menu > Select, and then selecting the photos you want to import.
Select additional photos you want to import, and then select Import .
From the menu that appears, select one of the following options:
- Import into Lightroom: Adds the selected photos to your Lightroom library.
- Import & add to Lightroom album: Adds the selected photos to your Lightroom library and places them in a specific album.
If you select Import & add to Lightroom album, in the Add photos to panel, select a pre-existing album or create a new one to import photos.
