Camera workspace overview

The camera workspace in Adobe Lightroom on mobile provides professional photography controls organized into three capture modes: AUTO, PRO, and HDR. Each mode presents a different set of controls optimized for its purpose.

You can adjust the following capture options to enhance photo quality:

• Exit capture interface: Select to close the camera screen and return to the previous workspace.
• Flash: Select to set the flash mode for capturing photos in different lighting conditions.
• File Format: Select to toggle between capturing photos in DNG format for advanced editing flexibility or JPG format for standard compressed output.
• Camera switch: Select to toggle between the rear and front camera lenses.
• Options: Select to access additional camera settings and advanced controls.
  • Aspect Ratio: Select to define the photo’s aspect ratio before capturing a photo.
  • Timer: Select to set a delay between pressing the capture button and taking the photo.
  • Grid & Level: Select to display visual guides such as grids or level indicators on the viewfinder.
  • Show or Hide Highlight Clipping: Select to display overexposed areas in the frame to prevent loss of detail in bright regions.
  • Settings: Toggle on to configure Max Screen Brightness, Geotag Photos, and Save Unprocessed Original.
• Presets: Select to apply predefined camera settings optimized for specific shooting conditions.
• Exposure Lock: Select to lock the current exposure settings to maintain consistent brightness while reframing the shot.
• Capture mode: Select to switch between different shooting modes such as Automatic, Professional, and High Dynamic Range.
• Recent photos: Select to open and review the most recently captured photos.

• Exposure Compensation: Drag on the screen to view and adjust the exposure value slider.

• Options: Select to access additional camera settings.
• Crop Ratio: Select the desired crop ratio.
• Timer: Set a delay of 2, 5, or 10 seconds before the photo is captured.

  • Grid: Select grid view options such as THIRDS, HALVES, or GOLDEN.
  • Level: Toggle the level indicator switch to view the camera tilt.
• Settings: Select to adjust capture preferences.
  • Volume keys function: Set volume keys’ behavior on capture.
    • None: Select to switch off any camera function for the volume keys.
    • Exposure Compensation: Select to adjust exposure using the volume keys.
    • Capture: Select to enable image capture using volume keys. Capture function is selected by default.
    • Zoom: Select to adjust zoom in and zoom out values using the volume keys.
  • Max screen brightness: Toggle to set the screen brightness to maximum during capture.
  • Geotag photos: Toggle to add or remove location info to captured photos.
  • Save Original: Toggle to save both the original and edited capture to Imports.
  • Reset camera to default settings: Restore all camera settings to their default values.
• Presets: Select a preset to apply before capturing.
• Auto exposure Lock: Select the lock icon to toggle between Auto Exposure Locked and Auto Exposure Unlocked.
• Capture button: Select to take a photo using the active camera mode.
• Capture mode: Select between Automatic, Professional, and HDR capture modes.
• Recent photo: Select to view the last captured photo.
