Create Team Projects in Premiere Pro

  1. You can create a collaborative project in one of three ways:

    • Directly from the start screen of After Effects and Premiere Pro.
    • From within the application, select File > New > Team Project.
    • Select Edit > Team Project > Convert Project to Team Project to convert an existing Premiere Pro project to Team Projects.
  2. Enter a name (required) and a description (optional). You can invite collaborators when you create the project or invite them later.

  3. To invite collaborators now, select Edit. In the Edit Collaborators dialog, enter the name or email address of the users with whom you want to collaborate.

If you previously invited users to collaborate, a drop-down list would suggest a list of the most recently invited users. Also, as you type, the dialog suggests matching search results.

You can also invite groups in your Active Directory to collaborate on your project. Any updates to the invited group, such as team members added or deleted, will not reflect, and you will need to send another invite to update the invite list.

  4. You can remove the selection by selecting the X in the name tag. You can also type an email address.

Suggestions are provided based on collaborators you have invited before or from your organizational address book if they are part of an enterprise syncing their Active Directory with the Adobe Admin console.

    Note:

If you are an enterprise user, ensure that your IT administrator has enabled the Team Projects service for your account. Explore ways to manage your organization setup.

  5. When you have added all your collaborators, select Invite.

Your collaborators receive an invitation to collaborate in the Creative Cloud Desktop app and in Premiere Pro or After Effects.
