Set the aspect ratio of a sequence

Learn how to set the aspect ratio of a sequence in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Create a new sequence by selecting File > New > Sequence.

Go to the Settings tab of the New Sequence dialog box.

Under Video, for Frame Size enter the horizontal and vertical dimensions. Premiere Pro will automatically generate and display the aspect ratio.

New Sequence settings panel is open, highlighting the Frame Size option set to 2000 horizontal and 1080 vertical pixels, with a 50.27 aspect ratio.
Use the Frame Size option in New Sequence settings to set the aspect ratio of a sequence.

Name the sequence and select OK.
