Punctuation and capitalization

Punctuation

Everything is in sentence case (which includes periods), with the exception of the Tutorial title and the Section titles.

Note: Tutorial Builder does not add periods at the end of coach marks. Authors must add the period via the text field. So please follow this guide for consistency.

Coach mark created with the Record button		Author opens Step Details and adds a period at the end of the recorded text. In Step Details, the author can also change the text in a recorded step, but should not change the text that is in brackets ({}).
Coach mark created with Record button or Dropdown menus		Author adds periods at the end of the last sentence Author types and is careful NOT to add a space after that period. Tutorial Builder automatically generates a space followed by the text “Click Next to continue.”

Capitalization

Use sentence case for UI element names with multiple words	The Selection tool is for selecting objects so you can move it, resize it, rotate it, and more. If you see a shape tool other than the Rectangle tool, press and hold on that tool. In the Gradient panel, click the darker blue color.
