Create a Dynamic layer from a generated edit

Learn how to control the intensity of a generated edit by converting it into a Dynamic layer with an adjustable slider in Adobe Photoshop on desktop.
After you generate an edit with Prompt to edit, convert the generated edit into a Dynamic layer to turn a fixed result into an interactive one. Use its slider to adjust the intensity of the generated effect without creating new variations.
The Dynamic layer remains editable, so you can revisit and fine-tune the effect whenever you need.
Select the entire image, enter a prompt describing the edit you want to make, and generate the edit using Prompt to edit.
Once the generated edit appears on the canvas, select Dynamic layer in the Contextual Task Bar.
Wait while Photoshop converts the generated edit into a Dynamic layer. A slider appears in the Properties panel and the Contextual Task Bar.
Drag the slider to adjust the intensity of the generated effect. For example, if your prompt made the image more colorful and brighter, move the slider to increase or decrease the intensity of the effect.
Continue editing or save the document to preserve the Dynamic layer for future adjustments.
