Adjust a specific part of an image

On the Photoshop on iPhone homescreen, select Create new   and browse for a photo.

Select Select area > Tap select   to make a selection.

Select the checkmark   if the selection looks good.

Select Adjust > Adjustment layers and choose from the given options:

• Hue and Saturation: Change colors, saturation, and lightness.
• Brightness and Contrast: Make simple adjustments to the tonal range.
• Black and white: Change color to black and white.
• Color balance: Adjust the balance of color throughout.
• Exposure: Make adjustments to the amount of light.
• Curves: Adjust the lightness and darkness of an image using a curve.
• Vibrance: Enhance muted colors.

To make further adjustments, make a selection and then select Fill area > Color fill to colorize the image and create a similar non-destructive adjustment layer.

Open the Layers panel, select the adjustment layer you want to refine, and set the following as required:

• Blend and opacity: Create subtle or dramatic blends and control the transparency of layers.
• Edit mask: Finetune the mask to add or subtract areas.
• Transform: Resize, rotate, or skew the layer.

On the Photoshop on Android homescreen, select Create new   and browse for a photo.

Select Select area > Tap select  .

Select   to apply the selection.

Select Adjust   and choose from these options:

• Hue and saturation: Changes colors, saturation, and lightness.
• Brightness and contrast: Makes simple adjustments to the tonal range.
• Black and white: Changes color to black and white.
• Color balance: Adjusts the balance of color throughout.
• Exposure: Makes adjustments to the amount of light.
• Vibrance: Enhances muted colors.

Select Layer properties and adjust the following:

• Blend and opacity: Creates subtle or dramatic blends and control the transparency of layers.
• Edit mask: Fine-tunes the mask to add or subtract areas.
• Modify mask: Refines the mask using options like Expand/Contract, Feather, Smooth, Make Border, and Transform Mask.
• Transform: Resizes, rotates, or skews the layer.
