Adobe Stock is a service that provides designers and businesses with access to millions of high-quality curated and royalty-free photos, videos, illustrations, vector graphics, 3D assets, and templates for all their creative projects. You can purchase Adobe Stock as a multi-asset subscription. Various subscription packages are available.
You can explore, preview, and license assets using either the Adobe Stock website or from within the Creative Cloud apps integrated with Adobe Stock.

On the Adobe Stock website, sign in using your Adobe ID.

Optionally, filter the search results. You can filter the results by price, sub-category, presence of people, image orientation, color, and so on. Different filter parameters are available for different asset types. For example, you can filter images by applying aesthetic filters such as the depth of field and vivid color. The search results are displayed as soon as you adjust the filter parameters.

When you've found a stock asset of interest, download its licensed version to your computer. Do the following:
- Hover the mouse over the asset on the results page. Icons for quick actions to work with the image appear.
- Hover the mouse over the Buy License And Save To My Library (
) icon.
- In the context dialog that appears, in the Save To Computer area, click Download.

Choose the desired purchasing option. Various purchasing options are available for individuals, teams, and enterprises.
Notes:
- You may want to preview several watermarked stock assets on the Adobe Stock website before you download the licensed version of the one most appropriate for your project.
- Instead of downloading the licensed version of the asset, you can choose to download just a preview of it to your device. To do so, in Step 5 above, click the Save Preview To My Library icon (
).

While exploring assets on the Adobe Stock website, you can open them directly in supported Creative Cloud apps. Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, Photoshop CC, Premiere Pro CC, and After Effects CC currently support this functionality.

On the Adobe Stock website, sign in using your Adobe ID.

When you've found a stock asset of interest, open it directly in your Creative Cloud desktop app of choice. Follow these steps:
- Hover the mouse over the asset on the results page. Icons for quick actions to work with the image appear.
- Hover the mouse over one of these icons: Buy License And Save To My Library (
) or Save Preview To My Library (
).
- In the context dialog that appears, in the Open In area, click the icon for your Creative Cloud app. For example, click the
icon.
Adobe Stock opens the asset in the chosen Creative Cloud desktop app. Before opening the asset, Adobe Stock places it in a library named Downloads.

Use visual search to find the perfect stock image
Find similar images by content, color, composition, or all attributes
The visual search functionality on the Adobe Stock website lets you quickly find stock images similar to another image. On the Adobe Stock website, follow these steps:

Drag an image to the Search With An Image dialog. Alternatively, click Browse and upload an image from your computer. JPEG and PNG images are supported for visual search.

You can also simply drag an image you want to search with to the search bar. Adobe Stock displays assets similar to that image.

Optionally, on the search results page, enter a keyword in the search bar to refine the search. For example, while searching with the image of a cat, you can enter brown to see only images of brown cats.

Visual search works best with images with dimensions of 1000 px x 1000 px and higher.
While browsing search results, you can simply drag a stock image thumbnail to the search bar. Adobe Stock fine-tunes the results and displays more stock images similar to it.
Alternatively, you can hover the mouse over the desired asset and click the Find Similar icon (), and then choose similarity by Content, Color, or Composition (BETA).



Use this option to find images similar to the subject matter having the same arrangement or layout on a canvas in the selected image.

On the Adobe Stock website, you can easily filter search results to show images with empty or copy space in them. After you see the search results, click View Filters in the upper-left corner of the page, and then choose the Images with Copy Space filter.

- Click Libraries and choose the desired library from the drop-down list. To view all your libraries, choose View All.

Open your library and hover the mouse over an asset to view the available options. You can do the following using the Adobe Stock website:
- License the asset and save it to your computer
- Save a preview of the desired asset
- Find similar Adobe Stock assets
- Delete the asset

If you have licensed an image, you can download it again without relicensing. Click the File ID in the License History and save the asset to your computer.
