The information in this TechNote applies only to Shockwave players version 10.0 and 8.5. There has been changes made to the default Set of Xtras in Shockwave Player (Starting with version 10.1). All developers should familiarize themselves with the information about Changes to the Default Set of Xtras in Shockwave Player 10.1 (TechNote 19523).
With the release of the 10.1 update for Adobe Director and the Shockwave Player a new "slim" player install experience has been put into place. This new installation experience was created as part of an effort to reduce the file size of the installer and in turn improve player installation success rates.
The following is a list of the Xtras included with the Adobe Shockwave Player version 10.0 and8.5.
