Customizing your portfolio site

Whether on desktop or mobile, your photography will stand out in this portfolio.

Follow these steps to get your free Photography Portfolio Starter File:

1. Download the file from Adobe Muse resources.
2. Launch Adobe Muse.
3. Open the file.

Customize the Slideshow Images

Follow these steps to add your photography to the slideshow:

1. Double-click the home page in Plan view to open it in Design view.

2. Click on the default image to select the full slideshow widget.

3. Click on the blue arrow button in the top right corner to reveal the slideshow menu.
4. Click on the folder button next to “add images”.

5. In the Import window that appears, shift-click to select several continuous image files on your computer. Or if you prefer, press and hold Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) while selecting several noncontinuous image files from a folder of assets.
6. Click Open to load the selected images in the Slideshow.

Now add your photography to the phone layout by following these steps:

1. Switch to plan view.

2. Double-click the home page in Plan view to open it in Design view.

3. Click on the default image to select the full slideshow widget.

Personalize the Copy

Tell your audience something about what you do. Update the copy to reflect who you are and what you do as a photographer.

Follow these steps to personalize the copy:

1. Double click the copy that you would like to change, to get the text selector.
2. Highlight the text that you wish to change.

3. Type your desired copy.

4. When you’re satisfied with your new copy, select the normal selection tool.

Now personalize the copy on the phone layout by following these steps:

1. Switch to plan view.

2. Select Phone layout.

3. Double-click the home page in Plan view to open it in Design view.

4. Double click the copy that you would like to change, to get the text selector.
5. Highlight the text that you wish to change.
6. Type your desired copy.
7. When you’re satisfied with your new copy, select the normal cursor.

Publish your Site

Follow these steps to publish your Photography Portfolio site:

1. Click the Publish button.

2. Enter your site name and press ok.

3. Press OK

You now have a live portfolio site to share with friends, family, and potential clients.
