Search for hands-on tutorials, create projects and simulation projects, and take quick actions to accelerate your workflows with the Home screen.
The Home screen is a guided interface that lets you access recent files, links to resources, and create projects and simulations.
The Home screen provides the same options found within the Adobe Captivate menus: create projects, open projects, and so on.
What's on the Home screen
Take a look at the three main Home screen links.
Home
This is self-explanatory. The Home screen contains the following:
- New project: Click to create a project in Adobe Captivate. You'll land on the Captivate interface, where you can add components and blocks and create and publish a project.
- New simulation: Click to create a simulation project. Record a simulation of any tool or product.
- User voice and How-tos: Navigate the carousel to visit the docs, User voice, and the eLearning community.
- Featured templates: Choose from beautiful design options, ready-to-go slides, and assets to quickly create great courses.
- Recent files: All existing projects are listed in the section.
Your projects
See all your projects in a unified view.
There’s also an option to organize your recent files based on the sort options that you've selected.
The list of your thumbnails is arranged from the most recent file you worked on to the oldest file.
By clicking on the arrow to the right of the menu, you can switch it from oldest to sorting the files by their names.
