Position the insertion point in a row or select a range of cells in the rows to control.
Learn how to use Keep options and threaded frames to control how table rows flow across multiple frames in your Adobe InDesign layout.
When a table exceeds the height of its frame, it becomes overset. Threading the frame to another frame allows the table to continue, with rows flowing into the next frame one at a time. A single row cannot split across multiple frames. Header and footer rows can be repeated across subsequent frames to maintain context.
Select Table > Cell Options > Rows and Columns.
Select Keep with Next Row to keep selected rows together.
Select a Start Row option to define where a row begins: such as in the next frame.
Select OK to apply the settings.
If you create a single table that spans both pages of a spread, you may want to add a blank column in the middle of the table to create inset margins.
