InDesign lets you quickly reverse mistakes or reapply changes during your current work session. These editing controls help you experiment freely and correct errors without losing work.
The Undo and Redo commands work only during your current session. Once you close and reopen a document, you cannot undo changes made in previous sessions.
Reverse or reapply your most recent change
Select Edit > Redo or press Ctrl + Shift + Z (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Z (macOS), to redo an action you just undid.
The menu items display the specific action being undone or redone (for example, Undo Delete or Redo Move).
Ghi chú
Some actions cannot be undone, such as scrolling the document view or saving files.
Revert to the last saved version
The Revert command permanently discards all unsaved work. This action cannot be undone. If you need to preserve your current work, use File > Save As to create a new version before reverting.
After reverting, InDesign reopens the document to its state when you last saved. All edits made after that save point are permanently removed.
Select File > Revert to discard all changes since you last saved the document.
Select Revert in the confirmation dialog box.
