With Adobe Fresco, you get a large collection of brushes, both raster and vector. And you can use them on the same canvas.
When you want to create an artwork that needs to scale well to different sizes, use vector brushes. You can even export the artwork from Adobe Fresco and work in Adobe Illustrator, which is one of the most sophisticated tools for vector graphics design.
Vector brushes in Adobe Fresco give you a natural drawing and painting experience and outcome.
Follow these steps to choose a vector brush and customize the brush settings to get the brush you want:
- Double-tap the Vector Brushes icon.
- From the list of brushes, choose the brush you like.
- Change the brush size and smoothing property if required.
Tap the Brush Settings icon and tune the brush settings.
The brush you choose from the list of brushes, the brush size, the level of smoothing, and the settings in the Brush Settings panel - all these help you make the brush right for you.
|Brush type||When to use|
|Basic Round||Create natural and fluid brush strokes.|
|Basic Taper||Control the thickness of the brush stroke with tapered edges.|
|Basic Flat||Cover large areas of the canvas quickly.|
|Basic Chisel||Get a sharp chisel effect while drawing mountains or stones.|
|Basic Terminal||Get precision in machine and equipment drawings.|
As you change a setting, you will be able to draw and preview the effect live in the Brush Settings panel.
