Editor does not start and freezes | Mac Mojave

Issue

Photoshop Elements Editor shows a spinning wheel (and freezes) on Mac Mojave. This issue is noticed when you launch the Editor.  

Solution

  1. Click the Apple icon > System Preferences.  

  2. Select Security & Privacy.

  3. On the Security & Privacy dialog, select the Privacy tab.  

  4. Select Accessibility from the left pane.  

    Open the Accessibility settings and select the Privacy tab.

  5. Click the lock icon and enter your admin password to unlock it.  

  6. Click the plus (+) icon and then add Adobe Elements 2019 Organizer, Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019, and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 editor.

    These applications are listed under the Application folder.

    The Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 editor is available at the following location:

    Application/Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019/Support Files/Adobe Photoshop Elements editor

  7. Click the lock icon again to lock it.

    Lock the applications by clicking the lock icon
