Auto Select is a smart model recommendation that automatically selects a partner model for you based on the following criteria:
- Your prompt—keywords, subject matter, and style intent.
- Selected content type—scene, subject, or icon.
- Adobe’s model capabilities map—including SOTA ranking, latency, safety, and style strength.
- Your resources—available credits, latency, and entitlements.
Partner models generate raster images, and then Illustrator automatically converts these images into vector graphics.
No, you don't have to install any plugins. To get all supported partner models, update to Illustrator 30.2.
In Text to Vector Graphic and Generative Shape Fill, Style Reference is currently unavailable when you generate with partner models. All the other settings are available, like with Firefly Vector models.
