Learn how to make AI-powered edits to an image with Prompt to edit using simple text prompts in Adobe Photoshop on desktop.
Use Prompt to edit to make edits an entire image using simple text prompts. Describe the edits you want, and Photoshop will generate variations for you to preview and apply.
To edit the entire image, select a pixel or generative layer. If you're working with a generative layer, ensure the entire image is selected.

To edit only part of an image, use a selection tool and Generative fill instead.
In the Contextual Task Bar, select Prompt to edit , or Edit > Prompt to Edit.
Enter a prompt describing the changes you want to make across the image.
