Issue

Sometimes, when you perform any of the following tasks, Photoshop Elements Editor crashes:

  • Use the Crop tool.
  • Use the Photo Collage feature.

Reason

Photoshop Elements is installed at a custom location with double-byte characters in the location path.  

Workaround

  1. Uninstall Photoshop Elements from the custom location having double-byte characters.

  2. Reinstall Photoshop Elements at a location that doesn’t contain any double-byte characters.
